Recently, Padden Properties was involved in the production of a promotional “mini-movie” to support the sale of real estate in Incline Village. Produced and directed by Film House in Nashville, Tennessee, this is so much more than a video or virtual tour. These films feature professional actors, original music & lyrics, and state-of-the-art film techniques.
Recently featured in the Wall Street Journal, marquis real estate firms are increasingly turning to movies like these and the internet to provide the exposure and marketing muscle it takes to sell their 7-figure listings.
Shot over 2 days in early February, the Film House crew came to Incline Village to tell the story of a family about to retire and choosing Nevada over California, largely because of the tax benefits. Leaving the hustle & stress of the Bay Area for an Incline Village address, our couple learns there are significant benefits to moving to Nevada and the realization that after a career spent supporting others, now it’s time to support and care for themselves.
Curt Hahn, founder of Film House was the movie director and producer, bringing a cast from Reno and a film crew from the Bay Area and Central California that featured lighting & camera teams, and a professional drone pilot with a “steady-cam” for aerial photography. Even Sam was enlisted to play the Realtor for the film.
Here are a few still photographs of the film’s shoot and a link to the finished video too.
