The oldest settlement on Lake Tahoe, having played an important part in Nevada’s statehood as the main supplier of timber to the Comstock Lode and Virginia City,  Glenbrook sits at 6,250 feet elevation and features the warm and dry summer climates typical of the Sierra along with beautiful, snowy winters.
